I’ve been where you are.

But before you dig into the full ebook, it might be beneficial to work through a few, powerful coaching questions that might get you thinking differently about your future... if you have ever dreamed of doing something different.
Analyze your current situation.
Did you know that on average, you spend 90,000 hours of your time at work over the course of a lifetime? That is ⅓ of your life. Now I don’t know about you, but that was some eye-opening information when I first read that. If you are going to spend that much time devoted to one thing, you should whole-heartedly love it and know that you are where you need to be.
So when considering the time spent in a traditional job, it should only make sense to really dig deep and to be honest with yourself about some things.
Are you content and fulfilled in your current 9 to 5?
Are you making the impact you’ve always dreamed of making?
Are you using your gifts in your job?
If you’ve answered “No” to any of these questions, you may want to consider whether you’re being led towards serving in another way...or perhaps focusing on something different.
One other point to mention- You can be good at something (your current job) but not passionate about it. That’s something to lean into. I would encourage you to spend time alone with this idea and ask for the Lord’s guidance.
It’s time to think bigger.
If you could do anything, what would that be?
Would you open a shop, work with a specific group of people, become a coach?

Now think about what life would look like for you if you were living in that place right now? Consider your relationships, your health, your finances. Go ahead and give yourself permission to dream big. Really visualize! Because here’s a fun little fact for you: The brain cannot tell the difference between visualization and reality! So if you can picture yourself where you dream to be and believe in the possibilities….well, that’s half the battle won!
Take the first steps.
What is one step you can take to move forward into a more intentional way of life, in regards to your career? Is it research, writing an email, picking a date, setting a number amount you want to reach? Write it out, put a date to it, and tell someone else about it!
Now the flipside... because with any major decision, our minds tend to create fear as a means to keep us safe and secure and to keep us from making big moves. So what do you perceive to be your greatest roadblock? What is the biggest thing stopping you? What resource, perspective, action step might make a big difference? (time, coach, etc.)
Remember, fear is just an emotion, nothing more. Decide right now to never allow fear to keep you from making those bold moves, to hold you back from living the life you were meant to live, or to stop you from serving others with your God-given talents.
