When’s the last time you did something that made you really uncomfortable? I realized that a few weeks ago, I was totally doing just that… being brave and stepping into the discomfort- again and again and again. And guess what? It was exhilarating.
And then I stopped. And I felt dull and kind of lifeless, to be honest. Not comfortable and happy.
I realized that God was calling me to do more living, and to step into the scariness more often. And that doing so is imperative so that I grow into who He’s made me to be.
And you know what? That requires me to be uncomfortable.
Lean into the discomfort, friends. And remember that He is alongside you the entire way.
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:6)
Doing hard things requires both you AND God to be present.
Pray and praise Him. Thank Him that He’s given you a purpose. Accept His presence and support. Allow Him to create goodness and beauty through you.
