You've been toying with the idea of hiring a coach for months. Maybe even years.
You have massive dreams for your business, but you're not sure if coaching is actually for you.
You're doing well, but expected to be further along by now. You see what others are doing in your industry and you're frustrated, feeling like you've fallen behind. You know you're capable, but something's missing.
You're tired of full days without the results or fulfillment to match the effort you're putting in.
If any of this sounds familiar, this post is for you.
Today, we're addressing the most common concerns I hear from prospective clients who love the idea of coaching but aren't quite sure if it's the right move.
Who Coaching Is For
Coaching is for the woman whose life is good, yet she is looking for great.
Coaching takes you from where you are to where God wants you to go. It's future-focused. It's action-oriented.
It's for the woman who cares deeply about not just what she's doing, but also how she's doing it. For you, success isn't worth strained relationships. It's not worth abandoning the things that matter to you deeply.
It's for the woman who wants to bring Jesus into her everyday life. If you're curious about how to grow your faith, if you want it to be more than just a lifeline in your struggles, then yes—faith-based coaching is for you.
It's for the woman who is hungry for a new set of skills and wants to step into a new level. Coaching supports you in seeing what you cannot on your own, doing something about it, and being held accountable.
Who Coaching Is NOT For
Coaching is not for the person who likes the idea of change but isn't committed to taking action.
Coaching is not for someone who wants someone else to make decisions for them.
Coaching is about empowerment. It's about accountability. It's about providing you with a transformed, new, different mind and approach—one that you keep and integrate. It's not something you borrow and lose when we're done.
Coaching vs. Therapy
It's important to understand the difference.
Therapy is generally about processing the past, healing from trauma, navigating anxiety or depression. If you're in the midst of those things, please seek out a licensed therapist. Counseling is going to be your best bet.
Coaching is about moving forward toward your future in an action-oriented way.
Common Concern #1: "Will coaching be mostly awareness work and not action?"
I appreciate this concern because it's honest and vulnerable.
Here's the truth: Awareness is critical. There's freedom in it when we shine light on what's happening and see whether our thoughts are aligning with truth or lies.
But the real game changer is creating Spirit-led strategy built out of that awareness.
I once spoke with a highly successful eight-figure business owner who spoke negatively about coaching, because her experience was that coaches were concerned with awareness only, and not action taking. That was heartbreaking to hear.
Yes, awareness is the primer. It's the pre-work. But the most successful strategy is built out of the awareness and vision that the Lord is giving you.
Faith-based coaching with Grace Space Christian Coaching is for you if you're not only seeking depth of awareness, but you're passionate about aligned action to pair with it.
Common Concern #2: "I need to wrap up what's in front of me first before I start coaching"
I feel you on this one. I understand.
Maybe you have a bunch of notes scattered from podcasts and personal development resources. You think, "Does it even make sense to invest time and money into coaching if I can't get my own act together with what I've already learned for free?"
The answer is yes. It does make sense.
Here's why: You've been 'playing business' to a certain extent. You've been getting ideas, getting inspiration, having conversations, but maybe you've been spinning your wheels. You haven't been implementing the way you know you could because limiting beliefs, comparison, imposter syndrome—all of those things are coming up.
In our Growth Without Burnout signature program, we dial into what you're all about. We talk about your tendencies, your strengths, your weaknesses, your limitations in this phase of life. We look at your patterns and your priorities.
There are so many curated tools and resources in this program. It's like your personal and professional success blueprint.
Through our conversations, you get crystal clear on what moves the needle and what doesn't. When you have confidence in your calling and what it looks like to walk that out, you're able to focus and move forward with boldness, with passion, with courage unlike anything you've done before.
The level of accountability you receive through our one-on-one time together is everything. It's a game changer.
When we work together, your excuses stop driving you. Instead, you begin to fully believe, "Why not me?" You start thinking, "But God. But God," instead of looking at how big your problem is. You look at how big God is.
Common Concern #3: "Should I just use AI instead?"
AI a fabulous tool, and I like it for certain things too.
But here's the thing: AI has never personally experienced the type of growth that you're after.
When you work with a coach, I can speak to what is more likely to work for you and also not work for you based on what I've seen with clients and my own experience. There's something about someone who's lived it that holds weight, holds value, and offers something more profound than words on a page.
You will be lovingly challenged in your coaching sessions. That's not something an online tool is going to do the way another living, breathing human being can.
There's something about sharing with another soul that makes things more real, more legitimate, longer lasting. You will only go so far with a computer.
Think about attending church - sure, streaming online is great, but when you connect with community in person, that's where the deep beauty, growth, and life changing transformation occurs.
Or, consider personal fitness. There are amazing options online, yes! But if you're serious about growing fast and focused, getting out of your house for a group class or investing in a personal trainer is likely your best bet. There's nothing quite like being accountable to and growing alongside a living, breathing human being.
One more- think about those moments (in life or business) where you experience a high high or low low. The healthiest way to celebrate the good or move through the bad.... it's with people who genuinely care about you. AI can't give you that. There have been moments where I've wanted to throw in the towel and moments where I couldn't believe I was living beyond my wildest dreams. The people who experienced those moments with me made them worthwhile.
But with Grace Space Christian Coaching, you receive a full 60 minutes together in each session. Most other coaches offer about 50.
In those 60 minutes, we:
Build upon what you've learned in previous sessions
Connect the dots
Bridge the gaps
Don't let you drop the ball on something
Hold you accountable
Help you make connections
Plug you in with other people and curated content
Follow up on a cadence that works
This relationship matters. Finding the right coach matters. And for the people who do, it is gold. It's powerful. It's life-changing.
Common Concern #4: "Will the advice be generic?"
Anything but.
Each session is unique to who you are, your exact challenges, your exact circumstances.
Before I left corporate, I was in a beautiful spot. Phenomenal team, phenomenal leadership, great salary, not a lot of stress, great growth potential. But there's something about making everything scalable that took some of the effectiveness out of it.
When you're speaking to everyone, you're literally speaking to no one. Your message, the results, becomes diluted. The value just isn't there like it could be.
My passion is for our conversations to be curated for your specific needs.
Think about listening to a podcast. You could listen to our episodes and get a lot out of them, sure. But when I take that content and apply it direct to you - who you are and what you're walking through - it changes the game. What you're learning comes alive and applied.
What Results Can You Expect?
You're getting to the root of what's holding you back. It's not surface level. We're going deep. Sometimes it feels uncomfortable. Sometimes it's hard. But hard things are worth it.
You're going to disrupt old, ineffective patterns that are wasting your time. No more of that. You are called to steward your time and energy well, and we help you to do just that.
You're going to replace anxiety and frustration with new feelings and different habits. You'll be pulled out of your norm. It might be uncomfortable, but it's going to be worth it.
You're going to be focused and energized so that you make progress on what matters most to you.
Ideas transform into actions. You begin to move on your mission, creating a legacy that can live beyond you—which as a believer, is so important.
You're going to feel supported and understood in ways you never have before because of the depth of relationship we create in this space.
You're going to experience freedom from things that have been holding you back for years. Decades, even.
You get to live with authentic, genuine joy and know yourself better than ever before. This expedites the growth. This expedites the breakthrough.
You begin to see the world through a faith-based lens, and that's going to allow you to operate differently. It's like getting glasses or contacts for the first time—the level of clarity is unmatched.
You begin to believe what God says about you. Your insecurities are traded for a full and vibrant life.
You learn how to unplug from the world and truly tap in to connect with Jesus in fresh, meaningful, real ways.
The Three Phases of Growth Without Burnout - Our Signature Program
Phase 1: Building Biblical Beliefs
This is where we begin. We understand how God wired you and begin to operate in light of that.
Phase 2: Transforming Your Mind
Our beliefs are important, and the way we're thinking about truth is important too.
Phase 3: Taking Aligned Action
Action that's aligned with God's will. Spirit-led strategy, if you will
It's a very thoughtful, systematic three-step process that enables you to experience the results if you plug in and do the work.
About Flourish: Our Group Program
Flourish is Grace Space Christian Coaching's premier group program for faith-based business owners and professionals.
If you like the idea of a group experience but are uncomfortable (but still intrigued!), this is for you.
Here's why group programs work: Most people don't know what questions to ask. You're inside your own little bubble. But what would it look like to have your ceiling become your new floor?
When you surround yourself with other people of high caliber, this begins to happen.
There's this quote: "You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with." So if you have big and lofty goals, do you have people that you really appreciate and respect, that surround you on a regular and consistent basis?
One of my favorite stories: We've gone through six different cohorts now. Our very first cohort was short—it was a beta test. One of the women from North Carolina flew down to Florida to connect with someone she had met only three times, virtually no less. Not only did she fly down, the Florida Flourish member invited her to stay at her home.
This speaks to the caliber of women who say yes to the experience. It speaks to their character, their integrity, their commitment to making Christ-centered connection.
We limit spots in each cohort because depth matters. It's not surface level. Your participation, your engagement, and our ability to support each other well—it's important to keep these small.
If you're interested in learning more, join the email list at gracespacechristiancoaching.com/subscribe to get first access to the next cohort.
How Faith Is Incorporated Into Coaching
We pray at the start and end of every session. We connect the conversation to the Lord, to Scripture as it makes sense, depending on the topic.
Some topics lend themselves to being fully immersed in faith-based conversations. Some not as much. And it varies by client too.
I had someone come in last year who said, "I like that this is faith-based, but I don't want it to be too much. If you'll meet me there, I'd appreciate it."
Several sessions in, maybe about halfway through her package, she wanted to focus a session on a sermon she heard about leprosy (of all things!) and how it applied to some of the things she was navigating.
The miraculous power of what God can do and how He can grow your faith in this space is truly beautiful.
Topics We Coach On
I'm certified as a life coach, master coach, laser coach, and group coach. I can coach you on whatever topic you want to see transformation in.
Some specific topics include:
Prioritization and time management - Knowing what to spend time on, what matters most, being a good steward of your time
Goal setting - What's going to impact your life in a big way, getting super clear on that, living it out (not just having it on your notes app)
Making decisions with God - Having God not only be a part of your decision-making in big transitions, but at the center of it, leading you through
Creating a life you love - Because "Delight in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart"
Your strengths, gifts, and identity - Who you are in Him, going deep into what you're good at
Routines that fuel and sustain you - Creating habits and rhythms that work for your life
Positive psychology and strengths-based perspective - This is transformational
Life transitions - Moving from one phase to another, becoming a mom, shifting jobs, moving, relationship changes
Limiting beliefs and the inner mean girl - Thinking differently, getting help with that voice in your head
A more vibrant faith life - Hearing from God, deeper quiet time, getting into your Word, vibrant prayer life, Christ-centered community
Why Grace Space Christian Coaching?
It's more expensive than some other options out there. Here's why that matters:
In the next year or so, I'm submitting for my MCC, which is the highest level of coaching accredited by the International Coaching Federation. Less than five percent of coaches globally receive this accolade.
My goal is to get there before I hit 40.
This is the level of expertise, education, mentorship, and experience that you're receiving. It matters.
Also our clients stay, on average, 4+ years. Our longest client is going on 7 years together.
Why? Because of the relationship you experience. Because of the level of support. Because of the intimacy. Because of the depth. Because of the results you receive.
There is a loyalty here that is just not the norm.
