You're passionate about growth, but you're weary.
You're putting in effort, but most days you feel like you're falling short and spinning your wheels.
I get it. And through today's conversation, my prayer is that you're going to walk away with fresh perspective. Praying you will feel seen, be encouraged, and get focused so that you can more fully and confidently step into the work that God is calling you to do.
How It Happened
Earlier this year, I shared about how in 2025, GSCC tripled in growth, what I learned, and how it happened.
But honestly, the most wild part of it all to me is that it was done in a sustainable way while I was working part-time.
And I'm not talking like 36, 30 hours a week, but about 20 hours a week with three preschool-age children.
I mean, only God. That is a testament to Him and the power of Him working through me.
So if you also have big dreams but not a lot of margin, you'll want to keep reading.
You're Not Special (And That's Good News)
For those of you who are feeling hopeful but maybe wary and doubting all at once, I'm going to remind you of something that my pastor reminded our congregation of:
None of us are "special."
The same Holy Spirit power that lives within me lives within you. God-sized growth is completely possible for you too.
8 Simple Strategies to Produce Significant Growth
I'm going to cover eight points with you. For some of you, some of these points might be a little bit unsurprising. But you know what? That's good. I'm going to encourage you to press into that.
We don't need to overcomplicate. What if this could be much simpler, much more approachable than you expect? Be encouraged by that.
1. Take Breaks
What if time away wasn't something you felt guilty about or ashamed of? What if it was the way forward?
What if the biggest, best growth is born through your breaks?
I heard this from Emily Judice and had to share with you:
Rest is where your next level is born. Rest is where your ideas start to organize. Rest is where your nervous system starts to recalibrate. Rest is where your capacity starts to expand. Rest is where clarity starts settling in. Rest is where leadership matures. Rest is productive.
How powerful is that?
So as you think about your call as a believer to create from a place of rest, you might want to consider what could it look like to create a business that honors the life that God calls you to live. What would it actually look like to do that? What if you could begin operating in alignment with His way right now?
2. Plan How to Use Your Pockets of Time
Have you ever had a stretch of time available and then when it came, you didn't quite know where to start?
(I see you!)
There's so much as moms, as business owners, as ambitious women that we want to accomplish. And sometimes when we have a space, it's overwhelming and we can shut down. You want to do it all and do it all perfectly.
So begin here- plan how to use your pockets of time.
This has been revolutionary for me. Sure, maybe you might not have a two-hour stretch of free time available every day, but the 15 minutes here and 30 minutes there certainly adds up.
One of the things that I got really intentional about was knowing exactly what I needed to do not only during my working hours, but in the pockets of time during my girls' quiet time and after putting them down for bed (whether it was for work or to unwind!) Specificity has been key.
You and I both know we live in a noisy, distracting, and chaotic world. It's far too easy to scroll mindlessly, sit in front of a show, go to food for comfort.
What would it look like to get specific and move forward with focus?
Absolute game changer. And part of what we figure out together inside of 1:1 coaching.
3. Bible Reading
The Word of God is sharper than a double-edged sword.
There's a stat that says when you read God's word four times a week, that is when your life significantly changes.
Bible reading really supports you in getting grounded in what's most important. It is the best, healthiest way we can start our day. It's the filter in which we want to show up. It's great to do it at night, sure. But what if you could begin and live your day through the filter of focusing on God's Word first?
And honestly, what I love about it so much about this is that it gives perspective.
Something that I learend recently was this idea of putting our problems into perspective. Namely, we have ant-size problems, dog-size problems, and elephant-size problems. Yet- are we treating them accordingly?
So really, what the Bible does is fuel our focus. It gives us perspective. It supports us in channeling our energy and resources according to what matters most.
4. Rest in the Fact That He Is Carrying You
At the end of last year, there was a week where I knew my schedule was full, but I didn't realize until the end of it quite how full it was.
It was a week where I served the highest amount of clients I ever had in the span of five days and did it while solo parenting for three of those days.
Yet, it didn't feel incredibly heavy. I wasn't completely tapped out at the end of it.
And that's because of the good and deep work that coaching, legacy focus, deep confidence work, and rhythms will do for you.
Clients say to me so oftentimes that their circumstances don't always necessarily change, but the way in which they're showing up and handling their challenges does change.
They're able to engage with a level of ease, with a depth of clarity, and with almost unrecognizable confidence because of our work together.
And you know that it's not through your own strength — it's through His. Rest in the fact that He's carrying you.

5. Ask for Prayer
This is why being part of a church community, a Bible study is so important. To be surrounded by believers who will pray into you, who will break off generational chains in prayer, who will help us see what we cannot ourselves.
6. Embrace That No One Has It All Figured Out
Community has supported me and provided the reminder so much of recognizing that truth.
The enemy has a tactic of shame, of isolation, and thinking at times that everyone else has it all together.
God's Word emphasizes the imporance of operating in a church community, operating as a body. Sure, your hand is great, but it can't do anything without being attached to the arm. We all need one another to operate effectively, to operate in health.
Connecting with the people around you can be one of the most life-giving pursuits. And if you're feeling like you don't have time for it, that's probably is an indicator that it's what you need now more than ever.
7. Celebrate That What's Not Working May Be For Your Good
I certainly have done my share of fixating on something hard. I'm learning to instead, consider what might God be doing in the toug.
I completely get that the in-between isn't it. But if it's not good, it's not finished.
So either you or your circumstance will change. He will carry you through it. Have confidence in that.
Ask for prayer, go to Him, seek Him and His will and His wisdom in it. 8. Invest in the Right Things
Investing has been a major game changer in my personal and professional growth these days.
Working with a coach is so deeply valuable as it compresses the time it takes to accomplish your goals. Time is the one resource that we cannot get more of.
Yes, you must be discerning in the right investments for you. And when you say yes to them, they will pay dividends and they will move mountains.
Quick Summary - Eight Ways to Grow Sustainably
Take the breaks, saying yes to rest.
Knowing exactly what you're going to do (specificity for those stretches of time!)
Bible reading — there's no substitute for that
Resting in the fact that He's carrying you
Asking for prayer
Remembering no one has it all figured out. Find freedom in that and celebrate that He holds all things in the palm of His hand.
What is not working out is for your good and for His glory
Invest in the right things to compress timelines
That is what can and will contribute to growth more precious than you could ever ask for or imagine.
