How to Set God-Centered Goals for 2026

Open planner with "goals" heading, surrounded by scissors, paper clips, stapler, and pink flower on a white desk. Neat and organized.

Feeling scattered about your 2026 goals? You're not alone.

As faith-first women, we're often caught between the world's hustle culture and our desire to build lives directed by God, not driven by anxiety.

We want to grow, serve, and make an impact, but we also crave peace, clarity, and purpose in everything we do.

If you're ready to run in the new year but aren't sure where to focus your energy, this post will help you create a God-centered growth strategy that actually works.

It's Okay to Not Feel Perfectly Prepared

Let's start here: you don't need to have it all figured out.

In fact, our dependency on God is something to rejoice in.

We were never meant to do this alone.

Whether you're building a business, leading a team, or simply trying to show up better in your everyday life, acknowledging our need for divine direction is the first step toward sustainable, joyful growth.

So take a deep breath. You're exactly where you need to be.

Why Goal Setting Matters for Christian Women Entrepreneurs

I absolutely thrive in the goal-setting process. There's a joy and delight in planning for the year that's unlike anything else I've experienced. It's where vision meets faith, where dreams align with the Lord's purpose.

Many of my clients tell me our goal-setting sessions are their favorite. We select a word of the year, set structured goals grounded in God, and create actionable plans that honor both ambition and rest.

If you want to fan that flame in your own life, keep reading.

My 2026 Business Strategy: What I'm Focusing On at Grace Space Christian Coaching

After an epic year of growth (we about tripled the number of women served- to God be the glory), I'm passionate about being more intentional than ever about where I invest my time and energy. Here's what my 2026 strategy looks like:

1. Community Over Competition

Doing life and business with people is what it's all about.

I'm doubling down on:

  • Business besties and masterminds – Iron sharpens iron, and having disciplined, intentional relationships with other faith-driven entrepreneurs has been game-changing

  • Church community – Staying rooted in my local body of believers keeps me grounded and accountable

  • 1:1 connections – Even informal accountability partnerships can be incredibly powerful when approached with discipline

Ask yourself: Who are you doing this with? Growth happens faster in community.

2. Consistency with Content Creation

Consistency beats perfection every single time.

I'm committing to regular posting across platforms, and yes, I'm bringing on a VA once again to help make this sustainable. But here's the thing: I'm still the voice. I'm not outsourcing my message or my story, just the logistics that free me up to create more.

Ask yourself: What support do you need to show up consistently? It's okay to ask for help.

3. Blogging for SEO and Long-Form Impact

I'm investing in longer-form content that's:

  • Searchable (SEO-optimized)

  • Skimmable (with headers, bullet points, and clear takeaways)

  • Valuable (answering real questions my audience is asking)

Blogging allows me to serve women who are searching for faith-based business guidance at 2am when they can't sleep because of big dreams or mounting anxiety.

Ask yourself: How can you create content that serves people beyond the algorithm?

4. Honoring My Own Needs

Your lifestyle IS your strategy.

I'm getting better about carving out a day each week to pour into myself and honor my own needs. I'm also being more intentional about time with my daughters in the afternoon.

This includes:

  • Regular reflection and quiet time

  • Gym sessions that clear my head

  • Cooking nourishing meals

  • Investing in deep friendships

  • Reading for pleasure and growth

Ask yourself: What do you need to feel whole? Schedule it like a client appointment.

5. Sharing Personal Stories

People don't just want tips, they want transformation.

I'm committed to sharing more personal insights into what God-centered growth actually looks like in real life. What does the Grace Space Christian Coaching transformation mean? You'll see it through my stories, struggles, and wins.

Your story is your superpower. Don't be afraid to share it.

6. Writing a Book

I'll be working on a book that will serve as a legacy for my daughters and a one-stop shop for the women I serve.

This project is helping me focus my messaging, create more purposeful content, and clarify the transformation I help women achieve.

Ask yourself: What's the big project that would force you to get crystal clear on your message?

7. Upgrading the Client Experience

I'm constantly asking: How can I serve my clients better?

This year, that means:

  • Additional resources and tools

  • More structure in our coaching journey

  • An overall elevated Grace Space experience

Ask yourself: How can you delight the people you serve even more?

8. Quarterly Challenges

To stay focused and create momentum, I'm implementing quarterly challenges around:

  • Consistent posting

  • Launching new products

  • Daily sales activities

  • Cultivating specific fruits of the Spirit

  • Regular outreach to potential clients

Ask yourself: What would change if you gave yourself one clear focus each quarter?

How to Create Your Own God-Centered Goals for 2026

Ready to create your own plan? Here's how to get started:

Step 1: Choose a Word of the Year

Ask God what He wants you to focus on.

What theme keeps showing up in your prayers, in Scripture, in your heart?

Step 2: Identify Your Core Focus Areas

You can't do everything.

What 3-5 areas will move the needle most in your life and business?

Step 3: Ground Your Goals in God

Don't just set goals based on what you think you "should" do.

Ask: What is God calling me to?

What brings me joy?

What serves others well?

Step 4: Build in Margin

Your goals should challenge you, not crush you.

Leave room for rest, relationships, and the unexpected ways God might redirect you.

Step 5: Find Your People

Who will walk this journey with you?

Who will pray with you, celebrate with you, and hold you accountable?

You Were Created to Grow

Here's what I know to be true: God created you with unique gifts, passions, and a specific calling. You weren't meant to stay stuck, overwhelmed, or scattered.

You were created to grow, and to grow fast when you're aligned with how God made you.
