The Year Grace Space Christian Coaching Nearly Tripled in Growth (and What I Learned Along the Way)

This past year was one of the most surprising and faith-building seasons of my life.

Grace Space Christian Coaching, which I once lovingly referred to as a side hustle, nearly tripled in growth. And the part that leaves me most in awe? It happened while I was working part-time (about 20 hours a week) as a mom of three preschool-aged girls.

To me, that is a testament of what God can do.

If you’ve been showing up faithfully in your work, wondering when the results will come, I want you to know this conversation - The Year GSCC Tripled in Growth (What I Learned & How It Happened) - is for you. You’re not failing. And God is very much at work, even when it may be hard to see.

Going Into the Year With Expectation, But Not This

When 2025 began, I felt hopeful. For the first time since becoming a mom, I wasn’t navigating work in the middle of postpartum recovery or newborn chaos. My kids were still little, but the fog had lifted enough for me to think more clearly.

Still, I had no idea what God was about to do.

Before sharing what worked and what didn’t, it’s important to talk about what truly set the foundation for this season.

Showing Up Imperfectly, But Consistently

One of the biggest catalysts for growth was committing to a simple daily posting challenge: showing up on Instagram stories or the feed for 30 days straight.

Nothing fancy. Nothing perfectly curated.

What mattered was consistency.

This challenge helped me cultivate consistency and, it released a tremendous amount of perfectionism. Some nights I recorded content late, without perfect lighting or ideal conditions… but, it still happened.

That’s what 2025 - the year we tripled in growth - was built on: Showing up imperfectly, but consistently.

The Tools and Support That Made a Difference

Growth didn’t come from doing something revolutionary. It came from refining what already worked.

I leaned into:

  • Reviewing qualitative and quantitative data through CEO-style reporting

  • Using tools like the Cultivate What Matters PowerSheets (affiliate code gracespacechristiancoaching should give you a 10% savings!) and simple longhand journaling to reflect and plan

  • Investing in education through courses and 1:1 coaching

  • Staying consistent with content creation, including podcasting

None of these were particularly revolutionary but together, they created clarity and momentum.

Community was also a massive part of this season. Having trusted support and a business bestie reminded me that growth doesn’t have to be lonely and, that investing in the right rooms pays off far beyond what you expect.

The Belief Shifts That Changed Everything

The most meaningful growth didn’t happen through a to-do... it happened through my beliefs.

I began carrying myself as the woman I was becoming, not the one waiting for permission. I leaned into the truth that if I’m God’s daughter, I can live and lead from confidence rather than insecurity.

Motherhood didn’t take my “it factor” away but what it did was sharpen it.

It gave me clarity. Perspective. A deeper sense of purpose. And surprisingly, catapulted me into performing better than before, not worse.

What Actually Worked — And What Didn’t

This season was marked by discernment.

What worked:

  • Consistency - showing up imperfectly, again and again

  • Pausing to reflect and intentionally plan ahead

  • Letting my lifestyle drive my business (I'm all about living the most intentional, Christ centered life possible myself!)

  • Staying deeply connected to church, prayer, and community

What didn’t work:

  • Minimal marketing for offers not shared consistently

  • Saying yes to opportunities that 'looked' good but didn’t serve the core mission

  • Waiting for external partnerships to be the 'it' factor

One of the biggest revelations of the year was this: He and I are the plan.

Or rather, God and my obedience is the plan.

Launches, Growth, and Stewardship

This year included powerful launches, multiple mastermind cohorts, refreshed branding, meaningful guest interviews, and expanded platforms like the Grace Space Christian Coaching YouTube channel.

Growth also required support, including investing in a virtual assistant so that I could protect my energy and show up better for my family and my work.

Ultimately, growth required stewardship, not hustle.

The Question God Kept Bringing Me Back To

What is the thing you don’t want to believe… but might actually be the key to moving forward?

For me, it was releasing the idea that something external would unlock growth. What I recognized instead that created change was a commitment to consistency, faith, and showing up where God had already placed me.

Reflecting on Your Own Year

As you look back on your own season, I encourage you to reflect honestly:

  • What worked this year?

  • What didn’t work?

  • What is the Lord calling you to try?

  • What is He calling you to believe?

  • Who is He inviting you to link arms with?

These questions matter more than any metric.

Moving Forward With Faith

This year reminded me that growth doesn’t always look loud but it is always rooted in obedience.

If you’ve been showing up quietly, faithfully, imperfectly… don’t stop. God sees it. And He is doing more than you can ask or imagine behind the scenes.
