Do you ever find yourself getting lost in what everyone around you wants?
Do you feel a sense of confusion in your calling and purpose?
It can definitely be difficult to feel like you are just wandering. (I have absolutely been there.)
If that’s you, have faith in the fact that God designed each of us with good, good gifts to be used to bless others.
As 1 Peter 4:10 says, "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms."
Let’s reflect on some questions as we begin to unfold how to honor your God given purpose.

First, let’s reflect on what you might be wrestling with now..
What is it like to lack clarity on your purpose?
If you remain in this place, what are you missing out on?
(I’d encourage you to be as specific and honest as you can.)
Next, let’s dream about what it would be like when you find clarity on your purpose.
When you have clarity on how to best walk in alignment with God’s plan for your life, what will that feel like?
What do you anticipate may change?
When it comes to finding your purpose, I’d encourage you to think BIG. I’ve once heard it said that if your dream can be accomplished in your own strength, you may not be thinking big enough. Let it be a vision that is birthed by the Lord.
After that, let’s talk about a plan.
What do you believe are the strengths that God has given you?
What are ways that you can use them?
When it comes to creating a plan to find clarity on your purpose, looking at your strengths can be a great place to start! If you are having a hard time identifying your strengths, ask those around you what they’d say and consider what themes emerge. You can take an assessment through StrengthsFinder, too!
Finally, let’s proactively prepare you for what’s ahead.
What do you think are ways that will help you stay on track as you walk towards your purpose and live it?
Know that there are always going to be distractions along the way, as you walk towards your God given purpose. There will always be things that sometimes keep us from finding the truth in who we are and who God is. Yet, it is still worth fighting for.
Want to simplify it?
We all have the same primary purpose.
To love to God and others.
Our ‘secondary purpose,’ if you will, is tied to our unique giftings but our main aim is quite simple- it’s all about the Great Command and Great Commision.
Honoring that is a life well lived.
